10 DAY INSTRUCTOR DEVELOPMENT COURSE (ASSISTANT
INSTRUCTOR & OPEN WATER SCUBA
INSTRUCTOR)
Even though the IDC
is only a 10 day program, past candidates have explained that
it almost felt longer, yet towards the end it had felt like it had
gone by so fast. Brendon's IDC
program, as well as all other Instructor Development
training is intensive, fun and
very rewarding. Our goal is to give you as the candidate a
professional level quality IDC program to become a successful PADI
Instructor.
The IDC is divided
into two parts, the Assistant Instructor (AI) and Open
Water Scuba Instructor (OWSI). Certified PADI Assistant
Instructors need only to do the OWSI part of the
IDC. Because Brendon takes
and integrated approach to his IDC programs, it is highly
recommended for certified AI's to attend the entire IDC, but
still only make payment for
the OWSI part of their
training.
Instructors from
other dive training organizations wishing to crossover to become
PADI Instructors, need to complete an entire IDC program as well as
an additional presentation on how to use and teach the RDP.
Crossover instructors have the same payment benefits
of the certified AI.

The IDC

comprehension. All software and slide shows are updated with the
latest PADI information. All PADI materials are updated
and available for instructor development. These
include all manuals, exams, promotion materials and other

OPEN WATER PRESENTATIONS ARE CONDUCTES BY BOAT/BEACH

The Open Water

close to the islands. Briefings and de-briefings are
presented during the traveling time or just

gives the IDC candidate a realistic experience for
controlling students in an open water
environment and conducting numerous
skills all at once in various
environments.

Lunch will be served
daily during the Instructor
Development Course.
Candidates will also have regular

*FREE* NITROX INSTRUCTOR

Starting in 2007, the
Enriched air Nitrox Specailty Instructor rating is now free of
